Blues Sounds, Elektro versus Jazz, Afro-Funk,
Down-Beats & Soul
Since the 1990s, the German-Nigerian singer has succeeded in winning the hearts of listeners with a unique touch by modifying and mixing earlier and current different genres. She combines tragic
blues sounds with her strong, rough soul voice and personally touching lyrics. She is a master of mixing categories without losing her deep connection to Jazz & Soul, even
if she refreshes her songs with Electronic and AfroBeat Sounds.
Her Nigerian background was inherited from her father's large record collection and had an early influence on her love of
music.
She became known in the 90s with club hits "I don't know what to do" and "Get it Down", in 2016 she released "Love and that Other Shit" and in 2019 her first album "The Simple Life".
