Noted Slovakian musicians Erich „Boboš“ Procházka and Marek Wolf push the borders of blues tradition far behind the standard.
The duo formed its own repertoire upon rearranging well known Blues, Rock and Roll, R´N ´B and Rock hits in an unrecognizable way; the musicians “borrowed” the lyrics and wrote their own music or they just completely rearranged the original song to the core.
This way they recorded their first studio album DIVERSION (East West Promotion, 2012), focusing on music at the crossroads of the black and white genres with firm roots in Blues. This successful debut was followed by INVERSION (2014), which was voted almost unanimously ‘The best CD of 2014‘ in Slovak Blues Top annual inquiry. The two-man-orchestra also produced a live recording released in May of 2015 in Czech Republic (LIVE, Indies Happy Trails); this album documents all that the guitar & harmonica duo is known for: Wolf captivatingly colors the overdriven sound of his double necked instrument with meditating solos, loops in real-time and Boboš conquers the soul of the listener with his excellent harmonica playing and unbelievably dark voice.
Boboš
& Wolf just finished the new album CONVERSION (again in cooperation with Indies Happie Trails). The release will
be celebrated on board of the Europe Blues Train with the concerts in Prague (23 Sept, 2016) and Leipzig (30 Sept, 2016).
